Leaders of the African Parliament of Civil Society hosted a press conference in the hotel of the place this Friday, July 28, 2018 in Conakry. This press conference, which was attended by several representatives of the local private media, focused on : ” the organization of the second international conference of irregular migration “, under the theme : ” Engage Africa in the face of the migration crisis “. International Migration will run from 19 to 21 November 2018 in Algiers – Algeria.
Clandestine migration is a worrying phenomenon for African countries. In front of this situation, the African Parliament of Civil Society composed of five members countries including Guinea, Mauritania, Bourundi, Ivory Coast and Algeria plan to organize the second conference in Algeria from 19 to 21 November.
Guinea, the organizer of the first edition, passed the witness to Algeria through the representant of APCISO, Ives Magloire.
According to Ives Magloire, Algeria is one of the countries with more experiences on the migratory movement, this is why the African Parliament of Civil Society trusted Algeria to host the second edition. ” This is why your country has subscribed and it has been selected for the organization of the second edition and we want Africans to become stronger. Today, we are transferring the flag of the conference hoping that the errors of the first edition will be corrected … “.
For his part, Ali Sahel, president of the organizing committee of the second conference of the African Parliament of Civil Society, told to the press : ” My country will bring additional substance to meet the expectations of African youth. Africans have reached the stage of maturity so that initiatives of this kind could be freely organized “.
